In response to the evolving needs of the BMX community, Seventies BMX entrusted us with the challenge of revolutionizing BMX hubs. Recognizing the shortcomings of current hubs—lack of durability, high costs, and restrictions on certain tricks like crank flips—we embarked on a journey of innovation in collaboration with BMX athletes.
Our impact-focused approach resulted in the creation of two groundbreaking hubs: SHIFTA and ELEKTRA. These designs represent a paradigm shift in BMX technology, addressing the concerns of riders while pushing the boundaries of what is achievable in the sport.
SHIFTA and ELEKTRA are not just hubs; they are a testament to our commitment to lighter, more durable, and less inhibiting designs. Seventies BMX approached us to explore a new solution for BMX hubs. Current Hubs are not durable enough, too expensive, and restrict certain tricks such as crank flips.
By working directly with BMX athletes and exploring the technologies currently available, we were able to create 2 new hubs SHIFTA and ELEKTRA. Designs that are lighter, more durable, less inhibiting on the riding experience, and are at the forefront of technological capability. About to undertake production, SHIFTA and ELEKTRA are pushing the boundaries of the sport and giving ultimate freedom to riders to express themselves.
